We obtain your personal data when you register with the organisation for any of our services / activities or when other professionals refer you to our services. As an organisation, we have a legal duty under the Data Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to prevent untoward access to your information. We will endeavour to ensure that the information we hold is accurate, adequate, and relevant.

Therefore, whenever we collect information from you, we will inform you what information is required to enable the organisation to offer advocacy, support, information, and advice suitable to your needs. Your information is stored on our computer system and also on hard copy, we restrict access to those who need to know and ensure staffs know how to handle the information securely.

As a part of the organisation’s overall objectives, we would like to contact you from time to time to inform you about the other services we provide, keep you updated about the events that we are holding and any ways in which you might like to support WCS. You have the right to ask us not to contact you in this way and provide this information.

You have the right to ask for a copy of all the information that we hold about you and to ask WCS to remove all the data we hold about you.
